why should you go for washables ?

A set of washable diapers which would last from birth up to the time when your baby doesn't need them anymore would cost you between one and five hundred euros (make that time 1.2 to have the price in dollars, depending on the quantity of diapers and the system you choose.
Disposable diapers cost a heck of a lot more.
Let's do some basic arithmetics. If you change your baby diapers 6 times a day, 365 days a year for over 2 and a half years. That comes up to 6*365*2.5 = 5475 diapers.
But babies often wear diapers for more than 2 and a half years, and the average price of a disposable diaper is 25 eurocents, So the cheapest it could get would be 0.25 X 5475 = 1368.75 euros. wow !
And that is only if you use basic disposable diapers, if you use active-fit pampers , The total will be twice that amount !


To avoid leaking :

Many moms have tried a great variety of brands to solve this problem, alas to no avail, I, for one, used to be part of them.
leaks with breast-fed babies are the worst one could imagine.Is there but one mother out there who never had to change her soaked-from-the-bottom-up-to-the top baby !
There are significantly fewer leaks with washable diapers, one of the reasons being thei ability to regulate absorption. for a good nightsleep or just for a nap, you can use the double-layer model which will increase the quantity of liquid being absorbed.
Nowadays, fabrics such as Hemp or microfibers are both thin and absorbent.
